The 2013 100% Garnacha is part of the varietal line of wines aged for a short period in oak barrels. This is a straight, textbook Garnacha with three months aging in barrel – a fresh and lively red with informal food that should be slightly chilled. It tingles your tongue, I’m not sure if it’s a slight spritz of the refreshing acidity. In any case, this is a light red that calls for food and for a large bottle. Ripe and juicy, very good for what it is. Drink now.
