The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Summit Vine Ranch is a classic mountain Cabernet displaying copious notes of creme de cassis, licorice, smoke, incense, and charcoal. Feels hard in tannins, with firm acidity. Not a wine you want to drink now for this tough astringency. Buried deep down inside is a core of blackberries, currants, minerals and oak.
