The 2007 Monastrell Seleccion contains 15% Syrah. It spent six months in French, American, and Hungarian oak. Dark ruby-colored, it offers up fragrant aromas of underbrush, mineral, blueberry, and blackberry. Spicy and full-bodied in the mouth, it has excellent concentration, savory flavors, and a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next four years.
