One of my favorites is the 2005 Pinot Noir Savoy, which has beautiful earthy, blueberry, and raspberry notes intermixed with spring flowers and forest floor. The wine has excellent texture, outstanding ripeness and precision, and a long, elegant finish. It could be mistaken for a premier cru Chambolle-Musigny. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. Previously recommended: 2004 Pinot Noir Alberigi (89+), 2004 Pinot Noir La Neblina (88), 2004 Pinot Noir Savoy (91), 2004 Pinot Noir Terra Neuma (90), 2004 Syrah Cherry Camp (93+), 2004 Syrah Timbervine (95), 2004 Zinfandel Von Weidlich (90).
