The 2005 Version Proprietary Red Wine Glenrose Vineyard is a combination of 40% Mourvedre, 27% Syrah, and small amounts of Counoise, Grenache, and Cinsault. Its complex Cotes du Rhone-like bouquet includes scents of figs, plums, cherries, underbrush, earth, and forest floor. It is an outstanding example of a Rhone Ranger made in a French style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. This winery is clearly on the upswing of quality. The Schoolhouse wines with the word “crush” as part of the label are Adelaida Cellars’ inexpensive offerings that represent straightforward interpretations of Rhone blends or varietals.Tel.
