Moving to the reds, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Hilltop checks in as 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc that was aged 18 months in 60% new French oak. It gives up lots of spicy oak, graphite and red and black currants in its medium-bodied, rich, nicely textured and balanced personality. It's a good value and will keep nicely for 5-6 years.
