The 2014 Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Campirosa is a delicate and food friendly wine. It opens to floral aromas of rose, pressed violets and orange blossom. In the mouth, however, it shows tighter flavors of bitter almond and fresh plum. The wine exhibits a dark pink color that is characteristic of this special school of Italian rosé from Abruzzo. There is nice thickness in the mouth with sweet berry endnotes.
