The 2006 Firehouse Red, a seamless amalgam of seven red grape varieties. I recommend them all without hesitation. The two Reserve wines are outstanding. Ron Coleman’s Tamarack Cellars produces a portfolio of easygoing, fairly priced wines that can best be described as middle of the road. They will not excite nor will they disappoint. One of the most popular mutt reds, this no-holds-barred blend offers plenty of ripe fruit, nice chocolaty tannins, and it’s a full, forward, well-balanced wine that has some genuine muscle behind it.
