This is a sensational wine. Bright apple and cream aromas set the scene. It is rich and concentrated with a fat, oily texture and spicy flavors. Spice and ripe fruit make it seem almost like an Alsatian Gewurztraminer. It is certainly powerful, but it has a layer of fine, elegant acidity as well. ——R.V.(11/1/2002)—— 94
