The Bordeaux-styled 1998 Terricci (75% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Merlot) exhibits a dense purple color in addition to aromas of black currants, cigar smoke, melted asphalt, toast, and earthy, compost-like notes.
