The 2007 Chardonnay Caitlin’s Reserve is medium straw-colored with a nose of toasty apple, pear, and mineral notes. Round and ripe on the palate buttressed by lively acidity, this nicely balanced effort has plenty of flavor in a straightforward style. Under the more challenging conditions presented by the 2007 vintage, Adelsheim Vineyards did not quite perform to the level they achieved in 2006.
