The 2009 Layers White is a un-oaked blend of 39% Semillon, 23% Muscat, 16% Gewurztraminer, 16% Pinot Gris and 6% Chardonnay. It displays a fragrant perfume of orange blossom, frangipani and white peaches with a citrusy undercurrent. Dry, crisp, light bodied and refreshing, it gives a medium to long apple and peach finish. Drink it now, while it’s this fresh. Peter Lehman produces a solid range of well made wines that, if lacking a bit of soul, are nonetheless very drinkable.Importer: The Hess Collection New World Wines, Napa, CA
