The 2002 Old Vines Grenache offers plenty of raspberry, black currant, and dusty, loamy soil characteristics with a resiny note interwoven with spice and pepper. From vines planted in 1926. Though the wine’s cherry flavors are a little sweet at first—imagine black cherry soda—it takes on deeper earthy notes with air.
