A knock-out white (and a dead-ringer for a top-notch French Sancerre) is the flinty, melony, slightly herbaceous, but gorgeously attractive, rich, medium-bodied 2005 Sauvignon Blanc Coralinga. This completely tank-fermented and aged Sauvignon exhibits terrific fruit intensity, length, soul, and character. It, too, should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
