Maryhill’s Proprietor’s Reserve bottling features heavy barrel toast and more extraction than the regular Sangiovese. It is very soft, very approachable, smooth and sweet, with a finish that tastes of strawberries and cream. Definitely a consumer-pleasing style.——P.G.(8/1/2007)—— 86
