The 2011 Trine incorporates less Cabernet than in the 2010 and is made from 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot that spent 18 months in 30% new French oak. It’s juicy and fresh, without the density of the prior vintage, and has medium-bodied richness, solid purity and a fresh, clean finish.
