Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a very honeyed and rich nose that occludes terroir expression. The palate is again rich and botrytis-affected, smooth in texture and slightly viscous, peachy, almost Alsace-like on the finish that needs more precision and mineralité. Tasted May 2016
