The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a straightforward, slightly rustic but charming bouquet with cranberry leaf and crushed strawberry. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin and moderate complexity, but again feels a little raw on the finish at the moment. Hopefully it will develop more flesh by the time of bottling.

Cherry, menthol and tobacco flavors highlight this sleek red. Densely textured and firm, with a strong grip on the finish. All the elements are there, but this needs time to integrate.
