The 2006 BRANCO “FADO” is a blend of Antao Vaz (85%) and Roupeiro. This is the second vintage released of this bottling. It is rounded in texture, with a feeling of depth, and grip on the finish. There’s more than enough acidity, however, and the wine is crisp, youthful and exuberant. It is drinking well now, but should hold nicely for a few years. It is a nice value. Drink now-2010.
