The red wines begin with the 2007 Pinot Noir. Medium ruby-colored, it has excellent varietal aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and rhubarb. On the palate it reveals an elegant personality as manifested by its silky fruit and smooth texture. It could use greater depth and concentration but is a fine introduction to Pinot Noir as well as a good value.
