The 2007 Exhibit C White Label will be aged 48 months. A similar blend of 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, it reveals a dark ruby/purple color, a boatload of tannin and notes of black currants and cherries. It comes across as an eccentric curiosity rather than a wine that someone would actually want to drink. Certainly it has some serious power behind it (15% alcohol).Mahle’s two efforts with Bordeaux varietals were far less impressive.
