The big, rustic, macho 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Wild Boar Vineyard may not be for everybody, but it offers a significant mouthful of wine with loads of black fruits interwoven with licorice notes. This cuvee’s tannin tends to be rude, sometimes aggressive, but there is plenty going on in this wine, which is aged in both French and American oak. It is meant to be consumed during its first 10-12 years of life. Tel. (707) 963-5711; Fax (707) 963-7518
