Produced from 4 parcels, one located high on the hillside and 3 lower-situated ones on the South side of the commune, the plum and black fruit-scented 2003 Nuits-St.-Georges is a structured, medium-bodied wine. Fresh, revealing admirable depth, its personality is lush and generous on the attack and mid-palate, packed with sweet black berries, before exhibiting some solid (yet ripe) tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2012.
