The outstanding 1997 Bombereto vino da is structured and surprisingly tight, even though the vintage produced wines with more significant ripeness and lower acidity. The fruit, glycerin, and richness detonate on the palate. With undeniable promise and massive structure, it has the feel of a Cabernet-based wine. Cellar it for 2-3 years, and consume it over the following 10-12 years.
