The 2011 Quartet (58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot) exhibits notes of cedar, black tea, tobacco leaf, spice box, plum and black currant. This well-made 2011 should drink nicely for 7-10 years.
This wine’s dense purple color is followed by abundant aromas of creme de cassis, licorice, subtle smoke, and a truffle-infused earthiness.
