The outstanding 2007 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Seguret Les Pialons offers beautiful notes of raspberries, kirsch, licorice, pepper, and loamy soil. Dense, medium to full-bodied, gorgeously textured, and long, it can be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years.
The negociant line of wines from Domaine du Pegau is sold under the label Selection Laurence Feraud, and they are all noteworthy efforts as one might expect given all the contacts Laurence and her father, Paul, have in the southern Rhone Valley.
