Louis Jadot owns one hectare of the Monthelie Les Sous Roches under Louis Jadot and one under Domaine Gagey. This, the former, was showing a little reduction on the nose, although underneath were attractive ripe red plum and mulberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity. This has a chalky texture, pointed and citric in the mouth with just a little hardness on the finish that I suspect will be dealt with by the time of bottling. Fine.
