The 2010 Morellino di Scansano Bellamarsilia is a beautiful, juicy wine in its category. Sweet red cherries, flowers, mint and spices come together nicely in this vinous, fragrant Morellino. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014. Poggio Argentiera has moved away from the rich, powerful wines of the past towards a much more laid back, delicate, feminine style. The new approach at Poggio Argentiera shows promise, but changes this radical usually take a few years to fully execute, so this crop of current releases should be viewed as works in progress.
