There are 135 cases of this angular/sinewy-styled Pinot. Its deep plum/ruby color is accompanied by sweet notes of cherries, balsam wood, dried herbs, and toasty oak. If the tannin becomes resolved, it will prove better than my conservative score indicates.Except for masochists, readers will undoubtedly find the 2000 Pinot Noir Lee Vineyard too austere and tannic. Drink it over the next 6-7 years. Tel. (707) 226-9991; Fax (707) 226-1685
