The 2005 Pinot Noir “The Kilmore” offers a similar aromatic profile but is suppler on the palate and has better integration as well as a broader core of sweet fruit. The wine has outstanding depth, ripe, dark fruit flavors, and a pure finish. It may evolve but the balance may not hold for an extended period so I’d drink it sooner rather than later.
