The dark-colored 1999 Pommard Jarollieres has an immensely appealing fresh, floral, cherry, blackberry, and spice-scented nose. This big, chewy, medium to full-bodied wine is broad-shouldered and packed with loads of delicious candied cherries and blackberries. It is lively, highly expressive, concentrated, and should age well in the mid-term. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2010.
