Pale in color, the 2014 Kiedricher Gr?fenberg Riesling Sp?tlese shows an intense but quite precise bouquet, although I won't identify it as a Gr?fenberg Sp?tlese. The palate is dense, sweet, lovely, piquant and very elegant, but lacks the precision of the dry wines. The Sp?tlese, which was picked later than the Grosses Gew?chs, is more concentrated -- but does not show, yet, the Gr?fenberg finesse. Very juicy and intense, lots of extract. Long aging potential.

Rich, zesty and massively fruity, with concentrated peach, lemon-lime and pear tart flavors, backed by open-textured acidity. Minerally midpalate, with notes of honey and sage cream on the finish. Drink now through 2026. 833 cases made.??–KM??Region: Germany / Rheingau Select to Add
