The oak in the nose is strong, much like cedar. Beyond that there’s sweet mocha and coffee. The mouth is rich, something akin to plum pie. Even the finish is sweet; it’s also chewy and loaded with black licorice. This wine carries a massive oak underlay and it’s sweet.
