The Fattori 2018 Soave Motto Piane is fermented in stainless steel and moves over to oak for aging. The wine is luminous and bright with pretty aromas of stone fruit, honey and crushed stone. Fruit comes from a 3.9-hectare site on the volcanic hills of Monte Calvarina. The clusters are left to dry on straw mats, and that's what gives this wine this pretty level of intensity and vertical lift (although the vintage is thinner overall). You can taste the crunch and the flavors of the grape skins. Some 14,000 bottles were made.

This round and creamy white offers a soft, citrus peel acidity and flavors of apple tarte Tatin, chopped almond and fleur de sel set in a light- to medium-bodied frame. Drink now through 2023. 1,150 cases made, 75 cases imported.??–AN??Region: Italy / Soave Select to Add
