The 2000 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a dark and deep ruby with a sweet nose of berry fruit, lovely oak spice, and crushed raspberries. The warm and expansive nose is followed by a palate of much finesse, filigree tannins with an underlying tensile strength, a silky texture, and a rise in the volume and weight on the finish.
