The 1933 Echézeaux Grand Cru is a brilliant bottle from a vintage often forgotten in the shadow of the celebrated 1934s. Offering up a deep bouquet of rich red fruits, dried berries, vine smoke, cedar, forest floor and musky spices, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a broad, velvety attack, impressive sweetness of fruit and a sapid finish.
