The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tête du Clos is very attractive, and one of the more gourmand wines in the cellar despite the fact the this lieu-dit sits at the very top of Morgeot. Notes of ripe stone and orchard fruit mingle with warm spice in a rich bouquet, introducing a full-bodied, textural palate, with an ample core of succulent fruit. This should offer attractive drinking in the near term.
