Howell Mountain has been the source of Pina’s best Cabs, and this single-vineyard bottling shows stunning concentration and complexity. It’s closed and tannic now, in the manner of Howell Mountain Cabs, but enormous in ripe black currant fruit, with the power and focus to age for many years.
