The 2007 Arioso (Sauvignon and Viognier) is one of the handful of intriguing whites from Tuscany’s coast. Varietal notes of mint, white peaches and minerals typical of Sauvignon dominate this medium-bodied wine’s flavor profile. A delicious, refreshing white, it is best enjoyed as an aperitif or along with the delicate fish and seafood dishes that are often found in this part of Tuscany. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009.
Once again this year I was very impressed with the wines I tasted from Campo alla Sughera.
