The Camigliano 2018 Rosso di Montalcino pours from the bottle with a cheery ruby color that is luminous and bright. This is a lean-bodied red wine that shows fresh aromas of redcurrant, candied cherry and even a touch of summer peach or nectarine. The fruit offers a naturally sweet plateau in the mouth, however the wine's acidity and its tonic personality have the final word. This wine has the freshness to pair with fried mozzarella balls or wedges of Pecorino cheese.
