The two 2014 Cornas are both seriously good wines that are ideal for drinking while you wait on the 2015s to come around. Deeper and richer than the base Cornas, the 2014 Cornas Jana sports a saturated purple color as well as sensational notes of ripe blackcurrants, toasted spice, saddle leather and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, broad, expansive and sexy on the palate, with ripe, building tannin and lots of graphite and minerality on the finish, this killer Cornas offers more pleasure than most. It will drink well for a decade.

This has a vibrant core of raspberry, blackberry and boysenberry fruit, backed by mouthwatering iron and white pepper notes, pulling together on the bay- and lavender-lined finish.
