(a blend of 60% sangiovese, 30% shiraz, 8% grenache and 2% graciano): Ruby-red. Dried flowers, cherry pit and licorice on the deeply scented nose and in the mouth. Supple and expansive, with a hint of bitter chocolate emerging with aeration. Finishes sweet and very long, with lingering lavender, anise and cracked pepper notes and smooth tannins.
