Telmo Rodriguez, the winemaker for the fine Remelluri estate, has produced a Grenache-based wine made from vines 40 years of age older. This wine tastes like a mini-Rayas, with a sweet, raspberry, roasted nut, and kirsch bouquet, sweet, rich, fleshy, voluptuously-textured flavors, obvious ripeness, purity of fruit, and a heady, high alcohol, lusty finish.
