The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes has a more expressive nose than the Feusselottes, more floral and perhaps, more Chambolle-like. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity and tension. There is finesse here and composure, allied with fine focus and poise on the finish -- a delicious and well crafted, quite succinct Chambolle.
