The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Millennium MM Vineyard boasts some slightly off-putting scents of green beans at first, but either I became inured to them or they blew off relatively quickly, leaving more charming aromas of ripe cherries, cassis, mocha and dusty earth. It's full-bodied in the mouth, with a soft, velvety mouthfeel and a lingering finish. It's a strong effort but seems to lack just a bit of concentration and richness on the mid-palate.

A barrel sample, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Millennium MM Vineyard is opaque garnet-purple in color and displays expressive notes of baked plums, warm blackberries and stewed blueberries with hints of spice cake, bay leaves and cigar box. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firm and grainy with nice freshness and understated, savory flavors.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Millennium MM Vineyard is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 26 months in French oak, 65% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose is profoundly scented of baked black cherries, blackcurrant cordial and boysenberries with wafts of cedar chest, tobacco, chargrill and Indian spices plus a hint of black olives. Full-bodied, the palate has a solid foundation of firm, ripe tannins and seamless freshness supporting the muscular fruit, finishing long and earthy. 300 cases were made.

Medium to deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Millennium MM Vineyard delivers intense scents of baked black cherries, mulberries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrants with wafts of fried herbs, wood smoke, tar, tilled earth and lavender. The full-bodied palate fills the mouth with herb-laced black fruits, framed by firm, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced.

Deep garnet colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Millennium MM Vineyard is developing into savory notions of chargrilled meats, black olives, sauteed herbs and charcuterie with a core of crème de cassis, baked plums and black cherry compote with wafts of dried mint and cloves. Full-bodied, the palate has a rock-solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and a lively backbone, supporting the taut, muscular fruit, finishing long and earthy.
