Knyphausen's Rheingau estate has turned out some attractive wines in the ripe, fruity, soft yet delicious 1992 vintage. Although no price was available the spectacular 1992 Erbacher Michelmark Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese is a decadently rich, honeyed, botrytised, lusciously sweet wine with superb balance, fine underlying acidity, and a finish that lingers for over a minute.
