Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Cahill Lane is scented of smoked cranberries, tar and tobacco with nuances of citrus peel and potpourri. The light-bodied palate is silky, layered and seriously styled with a gentle grip, great freshness and long finish. 801 cases produced.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Cahill Lane has a broody nose of sliced blueberry, black cherry and warm blackberries with cinnamon, nutmeg, tree bark and amaro accents plus crushed red cherries, raspberry jam, warm strawberries and dried flowers. Medium-bodied and silky, it fans out in the mouth with lush, concentrated fruits and tons and tons of spicy and earthy accents, with a firm frame of grainy tannins and very juicy acidity, finishing very long and layered. 750 cases produced.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Cahill Lane gives up a beautifully earthy nose of truffles, black soil and mossy bark with a core of warm cherries, black raspberries and red plums. Medium to full-bodied, it coats the palate with red berries and plum-inspired layers, framed by fine-grained tannins and great freshness, finishing long and earthy. 784 cases produced.

The nose of the medium ruby-purple colored 2015 Pinot Noir Cahill Lane sings of crushed black cherries, black raspberries and red plums with touches of underbrush, dried herbs and violets plus a hint of dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, it has a vibrantly fruited palate of red berry layers, framed by soft tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing very long. 728 cases produced.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Cahill Lane, from Dijon clones 115 and 114, is from the highest elevation site on the vineyard. It tends to be one of the more reserved Pinot Noirs, hence its later release. This wine exhibits lovely pomegranate, black cherry and black raspberry fruit, a deep, pure medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, light tannin and good acidity. This is a beautiful, refreshing and complex Pinot Noir. Drink 2017-2030. All of these Pinot Noirs are bottled unfined and unfiltered just like the Chardonnays.
