The 2008 Syrah Reserva (100%) received the same elevage as the blend. Notions of smoke, game, lilacs, and blueberry set the stage for a juicy, easy-going, friendly wine that is ready to drink now and over the next 3-4 years. Dark, smoky and tarry, this is a rich, brambly Syrah with a lovely spiciness and supple black fruit in a big framework, a zesty bite giving a fresh finish.

Dark and winey, but not heavy, exhibiting lots of ripe, fleshy plum and blackberry fruit layered with white pepper, iron and violet notes.
