The 2008 Merlot Ecos de Rulo is made with 5% Syrah and aged for 12 months in French oak. Notions of spice box, incense, violets, damp earth, black currant and blackberry lead to a supple, round, forward Merlot that has the balance and structure to drink well for another 5-6 years.
