The 2009 Dehesa Joven is a blend of 90% Prieto Picudo and 10% Mencia. It exhibits a racy perfume of blackberry, espresso, and licorice. Ripe and round on the palate, this nicely balanced, savory effort is meant for immediate pleasure but will keep for several years.
